Story
For Dee Kwan, every day is the perfect day. No, really. She has a house she loves, a job she adores, and a ridiculously attractive “nemesis” who never seems to mind when she wins their favorite online game. How can life possibly get better? (It can’t, obviously. It can only get much, much worse.) Soon Dee is forced to share her adorably cozy home with her parents and estranged grandmother. Then she’s tossed into the deep end at work, tasked with cleaning up a scandal for the intimidatingly chic luxury fashion firm Celeste. If that weren’t enough, she discovers her hot nemesis works there, too.

Story
Lila Macapagal's godmothers April, Mae, and June—AKA the Calendar Crew—are celebrating the opening of their latest joint business venture, a new laundromat, to much fanfare (and controversy). However, what should’ve been a joyous occasion quickly turns into a tragedy when they discover the building has been vandalized—and the body of Ninang April’s niece, recently arrived from the Philippines, next to a chilling message painted on the floor. The question is, was the message aimed at the victim or Lila's gossipy godmothers, who have not-so-squeaky-clean reputations?

Love The Calendar Crew and Lila!!
Reviewed: 10-02-23
I really have grown to love this cast of characters and the series is perfectly cozy! I hope the series continues to grow along with the relationships of Tita Rosie and Lila with the Park Bros. Can’t wait to see what’s next? Kare-Kare and Kidnapping perhaps?!

Such a cute story

I loved this book more than I expected. Such a good story. It was a well performed by the main narrator without having used a lot of sex and kink in each chapter like some romance books are. Not that I don’t like some spice in my books but sometimes it gets to be too much and I want to skip they those parts to get to the real story. I recommend!

Story
What a disaster! I only just made my flight to New York to help my uncle, and the phone I'm holding is not mine! It seems to belong to some commitment-phobic serial dater who's never made it past four dates (according to the constant notifications he's getting from his fake dating profile).... And worse? I have a sinking feeling it's that hot suit-monkey with the arctic grey eyes I just had a run-in with at the airport. Somehow, I have to persuade him not to get a new phone until I get back. My whole life is on that phone. I knew I should have backed it up. It's only a few days. Surely, we can handle it.

Pretty good story. Seemed a little forced at the end with Female lead. I don’t know if I was a fan of her delivery of her character or the way the narrator made her sound like. Male lead definitely did a decent job. He was made to sound arrogant at the beginning but seemed to be humbled by the end.

Story
When Lila Macapagal moves back home to recover from a horrible breakup, her life seems to be following all the typical rom-com tropes. She's tasked with saving her Tita Rosie's failing restaurant, and she has to deal with a group of matchmaking aunties who shower her with love and judgment. But when a notoriously nasty food critic (who happens to be her ex-boyfriend) drops dead moments after a confrontation with Lila, her life quickly swerves from a Nora Ephron romp to an Agatha Christie case.

I heard the voices of my family
Reviewed: 12-11-21
This was a great listen! I enjoyed each minute and the story had a surprising twist I didn’t expect until closer to the end! The narrator was amazing at imitating the Titas and the accents were on point. To the person who reviewed this audible complaining about how over the top the accents were and compared them to Jokoy skits needs to relax. My family literally sounds like this. What was the narrator supposed to do? Sound monotonous? The accents added to the emotion most of us second generation Fil-Ams are familiar with which drew me in more to the story. Had I read this book myself, I probably would have done the accents in my head myself. Great read! Can’t wait for Homicide and Halo Halo!!!

Story
Kailyn Flowers was always calm, rational, and controlled—until she ended up sprawled all over Daxton Hughes, the former actor she totally crushed on as a teenager. Then she did the unthinkable: She became a mortifying fangirl in five seconds flat, which may or may not have included professing her undying love. And oddly, he didn't run away. In fact, their meet cute led to a friendship she never saw coming. Of course, she never saw his betrayal coming, either....

This was a lot better than I expected. The story had me laughing and crying with the roller coaster of emotions it had. It sounded a little cheesy at first but it totally worked in the end.
