I’m not sure what I was wanting from this podcast. The first couple episodes felt adhd ish or more the inside of Lu brain. The cases are simple, for the most part.
I will listen to future episodes.

Story
Elves were supposed to be gone, defeated in the great war. Magic is practiced behind closed doors, and only by the elites. All I was trying to do was survive, maybe with a bit more curiosity about my master's magic than I should've allowed. He caught me snooping, and sent me on a quest to steal a magic scroll. A quest that would change my life.

The book is short. The story is ok. It’s from a pov of a male. You can tell the story is written by a male for a male. By the end of the book, so much sex and oral.
I usually don’t mind a scene or two of sex, but it seams like sex is the ongoing theme.
There is a lot missing. The written does not paint a full picture for me. This may be of the pov of the main character. His magic, what he does is not really explained unless it a mage hand. May not continue on. Let’s see how book 2 goes.
Plus the narrative is fast and squeaky voice.

Enjoyed the story…. But

I enjoyed the story by Reilly a lot. My only problem is the narrator. For some reason, at least 3 different times, his s sounds like screeching or nails on a chalk board. When he start this s sound, he will intermittently say s sound’s correctly and like a screech.
I may need to read the final 2 books if he narrates them.

I was hesitant to read this series, saw on here and figured I would listen since it is part of the premium books.
The series exceeded my expectations on a angel demon romance series. I’m glad I listened.
