Ms. Nordinger is difficult to listen to. Her voice is high-pitched and cartoonish. The story is ridiculous, especially the "alternate ending" and totally unbelievable. Don't waste your money or a credit on this one.

I can't believe I read as much of this series as I did. They were nicked novellas in disguise. The plots were dumb and the main characters were so stupid that by the 3rd book I was skipping ahead to get stuff over with. The narrators were good but had awful stuff to work with. If there's a book 4, I'm not bothering with it. Going to look for more by this author so I can put them on my do-not-read list.

Absolutely enjoyed this. Harvey Fierstein reads his life and makes you feel like you were there.

The heroine sounds like she's 14 years old. The kings aren't even voiced enough to entertain, and the story is predictable. Yawn.

The book is set in MA. The reader had a southern accent. Totally ruined it for me. Also, this one was really thin on plot, and what was there was totally predictable. Probably won't look to see if there's 4th book in the series.

So bad, I didn't get through the 3rd chapter. This narrator cannot even pronounce common English words. She pronounced Viscount as vis-count in the opening credits and I should've known from there. Ms. Minkoff is just awful and ruined the book.

What a great book. lots of HEAs and all just what I would've liked to see. I only have one complaint. While Ms. Jennings was mostly a good performer, mispronouncing too many words and pausing in awkward places too away some of my enjoyment. Not enough to stop listening though!

The music totally ruined this book. The story wasn't bad, but the singing was awful. Next time I see a book with music, I'll just read it and not subject myself to narrators who want a singing career. So bad, I'm returning it.

Invitation to Ruin Audiobook By Bronwen Evans cover art

The narrator was horrible. Mispronounced words, pauses in the middle of sentences, mixing up character voices, she did it all.
Her voice, especially when playing the villain, sounded like she'd been breathing helium. I stayed to hear how the story came out but will make sure I never order another book with this narrator.
