As some have noted these are not the entire scripts, the platonic ideals, but ones cut down and designed for a particular performance, which was the reality in Shakespeare’s day as well (for example, the four hour Hamlet we have on the page had whole roles and scenes cut to make it fit the two hours traffic of the stage throughout the history of its performance).

The actor’s performances on the whole are well done, they know the lines and can sell the meaning of them to those unfamiliar with the language.

On a personal note, I found that the actress who played Miranda, though she was obviously talented, was not to my taste in the more emotional scenes, so that dampened my enjoyment of The Tempest a bit.
