just when I thought the book was finally going to give me some kind of payoff the epilog starts. this book is a long interesting journey without a satisfying end. I understand why the author won't speculate on his discoveries and theories but it's frustrating. I still consider this book a worthwhile listen and purchase.

I've loved this series from the start and most of the authors work. My only complaint is with the repetitive references used throughout each chapter. Literally every moment of inner dialogue from the main characters is peppered with call backs to what. "the bean counters" would think or whether an action would end a career. these elements are great when used peppered in sparsely but they're grossly overused through the book. A minor complaint against what is an outstanding book and series. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves sci-fi war fantasy.

Seoul Man is a fun and interesting summary of an American's overnight entry into South Korean business and national culture. I found the stories about the little things such as asking for someone at a table too pass the salt in Korea being considered rude versus the west where it would be impolite not to to be very interesting. The deep dive into Hyundai's journey to become a global equal in auto making to its foreign rivals interesting also. Ahrens' faith is also expressed in this book but not in a way that should turn any reader off; he simply uses his faith to describe his decision making process in regard to his family, overall attitude, and career choices. A very enlightening read.

Blutrich tell a compelling true account of helping the feds bring down a notorious crime family only to be betrayed over and over. I simply couldn't stop listening.
