Story
These two famous sci-fi authors, who, together wrote the best-selling Brain Twister have another incredibly imaginative science fiction/fantasy story with Pagan Passions. As they describe it, this book is "Adult Science Fiction, with the supernatural making complete sense." The Gods and Goddesses of Ancient Greece and Rome had returned to Earth - with all their awesome powers intact, and Earth was transformed almost overnight. War on any scale was outlawed, along with boom-and-bust economic cycles, and prudery....

This was part sci-fi and part fantasy. Very imaginative. Loved it!
Now in search of others by same authors and, hopefully, same reader.

Hard to believe someone would write bad review about this. An excellent selection with very good narration. Normally quality goes down a bit with various volumes. Happy to say that is not the case this time. Can't wait for next set!

In this story, Dr Jay Allison has a split personality. One side is the cool, emotionless parasitoligist; the other is the free-spirited adventurer. The latter has been firmly held in control by the former for many years, but now it needs to be called forth to save the Terran colony on the planet Darkover. Will the experiment to separate and then rejoin the personalities succeed?

I love this author's books and this one is no exception. Very imaginative story.
Liked the reader too but, since another listener did not, I would suggest you listen to the sample and decide for yourself.

Story
This book by Dale Carnegie is as true and helpful today as when it was written almost a century ago. Listen, practice and succeed! It's a "must listen" for anyone who feels they have something valuable to say but is not quite sure how to go about saying it.Say the name "Dale Carnegie" and How to Win Friends and Influence People usually comes to mind. What is not as well known is that Carnegie was a professor of public speaking and that, over the years, this book has been just as popular.
