Story
Candace Andrews has had enough of pleasing others. In an act of birthday rebellion, she sets out to please herself - by walking into the tattoo parlor owned by her cousin’s ex-boyfriend. All she wants is a little ink, and Brian’s just the guy to give it to her. As soon as she submits to his masterful hands, though, the forbidden attraction she’s always felt for him resurfaces...and she realizes the devilishly sexy artist could give her so much more.

It was okay, ending was disappointing.

I enjoyed the premise and the voice actor's performance, but the ending seemed rushed and not well thought out. The biggest issue that I had was how the major conflict was resolved. The entire story revolved around her family not approving of the male lead with additional issues and misunderstandings happening because the main character insisted she needed to solve it on her own. Then in the last chapter or two, suddenly the male lead decided, let's talk with her family without the main character, and the issue is just solved, that easily. It did not seem like a well thought out resolution nor did it feel cohesive with the rest of the story line. Plus the actual confrontation between male lead and family was not even included, which makes it even more underwhelming and confusing since very little before that leads to a true understanding of how that could be resolved so easily.
The ending definitely could have been improved and made more satisfying if the confrontation scene was included with the main character standing up for herself, like it seemed the entire story was leading up to, while with the male lead supporting her from the side, and that support makes her want to get back together with him again in the end.
