Story
This meditation is designed to complement the sign of Scorpio. Scorpio energies are often misunderstood because of their depth and intensity. Scorpio is a fixed water sign that holds in it the power of creation and destruction. It is the deepest of your inner waters, and within it lives your capacity to hold grudges, to forgive, to experience the transformational power of love, grief and passion. These feelings can be overwhelming at times, but are a powerful part of who you are.

Listened for the first time when I had a migraine and it helped release stress and some pain. Just the right amount of music and flow and direction and peaceful space. Will absolutely listen again and again.

Story
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

His vulnerable sharing is generous

I love that Harry was able to share his life in his own words, from his heart, worts and all. He and Meghan are remarkable people we should all be happy to know are persistent to make the world a better place. Shame on the press in Britain, may they rot.

Story
In this inspirational and unflinchingly honest memoir, acclaimed author Reyna Grande describes her childhood torn between the United States and Mexico, and shines a light on the experiences, fears, and hopes of those who choose to make the harrowing journey across the border. Reyna Grande vividly brings to life her tumultuous early years in this “compelling...unvarnished, resonant” (BookPage) story of a childhood spent torn between two parents and two countries.

The struggle
Reviewed: 07-30-24
Reina is an incredible writer/storyteller and the performer did an amazing job of conveying the story. I felt Reina’s pain, I cried at times and also felt her joy, crying then too. There is so much to learn in her struggles. In the end, we love our families even though things can be tough. I highly recommend this book.

Story
The Roaring Twenties—the Jazz Age—has been characterized as a time of Gatsby frivolity. But it was also the height of the uniquely American hate group, the Ku Klux Klan. Their domain was not the old Confederacy, but the Heartland and the West. They hated Blacks, Jews, Catholics and immigrants in equal measure, and took radical steps to keep these people from the American promise. And the man who set in motion their takeover of great swaths of America was a charismatic charlatan named D.C. Stephenson.

Factual and scary…. I was missing the full history of this hate group. It wasn’t just around once. It came and left a few times. Seems to be playing out again now. In 2024. Highly recommending to everyone in my orbit. Important history!!!
