When Sugar Busters! hit the shelves almost five years ago, it quickly became a diet and lifestyle phenomenon. The millions of people across the country on the Sugar Busters! plan discovered that by simply choosing the correct carbohydrates and lowering their sugar intake, they could shed the pounds they failed to lose with other diets. Out of date and out of breath
Reviewed: 01-02-24
The information seems to be out of date and contradictory ( advising to consume "light" dairy which we all know means higher sugar), as well as stating that there is no negative evidence against the use of aspartame.
I wanted to like the expressive narration but he continually seemed to be running out of breath.
This book was defiantly not for me.

Story
We are stuck, stymied, frustrated. But it needn't be this way. There is a formula for success that's been followed by the icons of history - from John D. Rockefeller to Amelia Earhart to Ulysses S. Grant to Steve Jobs - a formula that let them turn obstacles into opportunities. Faced with impossible situations, they found the astounding triumphs we all seek.

Boring
Reviewed: 08-13-23
I wanted to be inspired but regret to report that I found this book overwhelmingly boring. Too many historical references. And the somewhat flat and dry narration did not help.
