Good summary of Key West

I’m planning a trip to Key West and found this summary very helpful. Lots of information about hotels, restaurants and beaches with a nice sprinkling of history and local tips. I would have liked more information about the state and national parks in the keys, but this book is about Key West and not the Keys in general. Good read and a good resource.

Fact-based nutrition information at its best!

“How Not to Die” is jam-packed with references to scientific studies on foods and nutrition and their impact on health (or disease). At times, it reads like a chain of one study’s results after another, but the book is so well organized, I believe I will continue to consult the book for specific sections again and again. The Notes section in the back of the book is a bonus bibliography of hundreds of nutrition-related studies. I believe I have found my “nutrition Bible.”
