Really Good But…
Reviewed: 09-17-21
Firstly, the story is great and I love the narrator, but it’s like he’s never seen or pronounced sword in his life. There were a few other pronunciation mistakes I can overlook but this got to me for some reason and it’s in every book he reads. Otherwise a great book

Story
A towering genius who'd already solved the problem of death by making memory recording possible, Cassia leads a team of scientists and problem solvers to a station floating in the harsh winds of Saturn. Their mission: to grow interstellar ships using nanobots in the planet's material-rich environment. She called them "monsters" to help sell the project to a skeptical public. Little did she know how prophetic that name would become.

Ok but could be better

The narrator was good but the story was slow to me and I found it hard to connect with many of the characters. Much of the first half felt meaningless

Story
When the Imperial prison barge Purge—temporary home to five hundred of the galaxy’s most ruthless killers, Rebels, scoundrels, and thieves—breaks down in a distant part of space, its only hope appears to lie with a Star Destroyer found drifting and seemingly abandoned. But when a boarding party from the Purge is sent to scavenge for parts, only half of them come back—bringing with them a horrific disease so lethal that within hours, nearly all aboard the Purge die in ways too hideous to imagine.

Obviously not for everyone but I strongly recommend it too people who like horror and star wars such as myself. Has great narration and atmosphere and over all enjoyably tense.
