Story
In You Can’t Joke About That, Kat Timpf shows why much of the way we talk about sensitive subjects is wrong. We’ve created all the wrong rules. We push ourselves into unnecessary conflicts when we should feel like we’re all in this together. When someone says “you can’t joke about that,” what they really mean is “this is a subject that makes people sad or angry.”

Well............................I wasn't always anxious to hear more, but as I forged ahead, it made the book worth listening to. Her brutal honesty made it a book worth reading again. I'm SO conservative, that I started to get nervous, but in the end, she wanted to be honest to her readers, and she accomplished that. I'd be proud if she was a member of my Family. And in many ways, she is.

If there had been no cover-up of Robert Kennedy's complicity in the murder of Marilyn Monroe in 1962 and he had been prosecuted based on compelling evidence at the time, the assassination of JFK by Bobby's enemies would not have happened - changing the course of history and preventing the murder of media icon Dorothy Kilgallen.

I didn't buy this book to hear you trash Trump
Reviewed: 04-30-23
Pathetic. What I expected to be an evidence based book on the facts of the events became the authors opportunity to express his personal opinions on one person, Donald Trump. I'm not even finishing the book, just tired of hearing about Trump. Don't waste your time. Too many other books that are not obsessed with Trump. Hey mark, McDonalds is hiring.........................

To me, this is an autobiography

To me, this is an autobiography

As a detective for decades, I always try to brush up on what the young pups are doing these days. This was nothing more, at least for the first hour, of a guy spouting off about his time in the IDF. It should have been titled, based on the first hour, "My time and troubles in the Israeli military". Listen Ami', I'm interested in SURVEILLANCE, not your personal life. It is my opinion that he named it what he did to get more readers. Now, I'm just one person, so my advice is, look at all the reviews, and then make your own decision. I only listened to 16% of the book (One Hour), but that was enough for me. Like when you go the Fridge and pull out the milk, take a taste, and it's sour. It only takes a taste to know if it's bad, and putting it back in with hopes it will be better tomorrow is just not an option for me. You might speak a dozen languages, but you're not speaking mine. Some of the best guns I own are Israeli, ( e.g. Tavor TS12, The BEST ), but this is one product that should have stayed in Israel.

The political, and very human, dynamics behind presidential cabinets, from George Washington to Joe Biden, come to life in The Best and Worst Presidential Cabinets in U.S. History. What Lindsay M. Chervinsky offers in this eye-opening Audible Original is an investigation of the good, the bad, and the ugly of presidential cabinets. Covering more than two centuries of history, it’s a fascinating tour of scandals, colorful personalities, big events, and triumphs of diversity and bipartisanship. Not to mention jobs with a very high turnover rate.

If you're a conservative, this is a waste of time. I only had to listen to less than a minute. They have as much a right to put forth their view as I have to delete it.

Story
How did Fidel Castro fool the CIA for a generation? Why did Neville Chamberlain think he could trust Adolf Hitler? Why are campus sexual assaults on the rise? Do television sitcoms teach us something about the way we relate to each other that isn't true? While tackling these questions, Malcolm Gladwell was not solely writing a book for the page. He was also producing for the ear. In the audiobook version of Talking to Strangers, you’ll hear the voices of people he interviewed - scientists, criminologists, military psychologists.

Well, that was 8 and 1/2 hours of my life I wont get back. If you "wonder" if this is Racist, just look up the details of the song he spews throughout this garbage, it ends in "Talmbout". This is not a song about ALL people who have suffered injustice, ONLY African-Americans. I can think of MANY Whites, Asian, Hispanics, etc. who have suffered Injustice. We are ALL Children of God, and that makes us ALL Brothers and Sisters. But not for malcolm, this is just worthless rant. Lipstick on a pig makes for a disappointing date. I bought this because I wanted tips and help on how to approach people I did not know, how to better build a bridge and relationship. What I got was "It's the Cops fault that she hung herself." "She would still be alive if only he had been more courteous". He spews hate of Cops, of America, of the CIA. He spends more time pointing out the flaws in the The Greatest Country in the History of the World than ANY help "Talking with Strangers". I know nothing about the Author, but I wont waste another dime on this rubbish. Racist, Anti-American, Anti-Civil. And since I downloaded it, I have no replacement for toilet paper as well, because that's where it belongs. While the rest of us are in there, busting our butts, and at times, making mistakes I hope we learn from, this guy can do nothing but flap his gums. And now that I've googled a little about him, I understand why. God Help Us.
