Set in the far, far future, Steel Traveler Of Urth is a wild combination of The Good, The Bad And The Ugly (the sunburned landscape, the characters who take it for granted that everybody's out to cheat and/or kill everyone else as they vie for treasure)and The Road Warrior (the hard-to-kill hero has suffered so many losses, he's trying to be as big a bastard as everyone else, but he keeps being tripped up by his own innate decency).

BEST PERFORMANCE EVER!!! I AM AN AUDDICT (audible+addict). With that said, I've heard over 300 books and I can't think of a better performance. You can really tell they loved doing this book. I was laughing and on the edge of my seat. Great story but the cast brings this book to LIFE (standing ovation). Sci-Fi romance with lots of battles and intrigue. Giant Bugs, slavery, and humans as the subspecies. WOW what a great listen.

I finished and bought them all !! Such a great story. Action packed, not a moment where something wasn't happening. Catman steals superish girl and whisks her away to another galaxy. The narration is great too, and I will look for more Rachel Orlin.
Be warned it is addictive and you will want to know whats going to happen next. Its not predictable at all.

EXTRAORDINARY!!!! There is more HEAT in this book than the 7 levels of hell (lol yes the pun was intended). Loved the characters. Perfectly balanced inner turmoil and outer conflict. Gah I love it when a book FEELS real. That's the test of good writing. Those little truths or nuances that take you there, like right there, in there. I will listen to this book again and get the next book in the series. It is not stripper meets guy and stripper being chased my the mob. It is soooo much more, much much more. I would tell you but I don't want to spoil it for you.

CRAZY GOOD BOOK!!! I got this book off the editors pick broadcast and I am so glad I did. I have a hard time finishing a book but this book was superb to the last drop. There was nail biting, shifting eyes, cringing, and mild panic. The story was great! Intrigue like no other book I can remember. Captivated through the twists and turns till the end when...... gosh I cant ruin it for you.
