Story
It's 1949. When war veteran Aloysius Archer is released from Carderock Prison, he is sent to Poca City on parole with a short list of dos and a much longer list of don'ts: do report regularly to his parole officer, don't go to bars, certainly don't drink alcohol, do get a job - and don't ever associate with loose women. The small town quickly proves more complicated and dangerous than Archer's years serving in the war or his time in jail.

I started this book many times, unable to get through the first two chapters.
It never seemed to grab my attention like other Baldacci books but... finally I let it play out and what a journey! A fantastic story and character in Mr. Archer. Excited for the sequel.

I have listend to this at least 6 times and I'm always discovering new details and enjoying the narration just as much as I did on the first go.

Story
Beyond Tim Tebow's exploits as a Heisman-winning football player, he is widely known and respected for his exemplary character and personal excellence, which have made him a role model for millions. When Tim interacts with the public, he often encounters people who feel "stuck" - unable to take action on matters ranging from daily life to pursuing lifelong dreams. In response, Tim often identifies a crippling fear or lack of courage, to which he advises: "Now is the time to take some risks, to quiet the voices of defeat, to step forward and make a mark, because this is the day."

Love Tim Tebow, Hate the Narrator
Reviewed: 05-16-19
Another great, uplifting piece of work from Tim Tebow. Unfortunately, it's hard to become fully engaged and relative with the book as the narrators voice is unbearable. Tim Tebow is all about the grind and pushing through obstacles and that is what you must do with the narration in this audio. If you read this prior to listening, just read it for yourself.
