Story
Erik knew one thing after dropping in, when he first saw the numbers before his eyes, the rumors about the "cursed" were true. He was in another world. Survival wasn’t assured. Cultivate, get skills, grow abilities, or die. His old life, as a combat medic, had been hard, but he had learned some valuable lessons. And he wasn’t alone. His best friend, a marine recon sniper, like always, was right by his side. Could they figure out this fantasy world? What does it mean to ascend? How will they master the magic of this strange place?

Ever loved something but life gets in the way? I'm in my 50's loved D&D as a kid couldn't play as much as I would have liked to. Was there for the clunky RPG's from sega to when a powerhouse computer was 160 mb hard drive. Well real life military kids job refocuses your time away from the games (Daggerfall) lol Skyrim that u start but can't ever finish movies like Lord of the rings are nice 3-hour injections of nostalgia but for all you dads busy people who ever wanted to create a character in a fantasy realm and got lost in the real world here's your book. Enjoy the ride. Can't wait for more. I never review anything sorry for the diatribe felt it to be fair to the author. Now that will be 2 coppers (lol listen and understand)

Story
Captain Dominika Egorova of the Russian Intelligence Service (SVR) has returned from the West to Moscow and the Center, the headquarters of her service. She finds things worse than when she left. She despises the men she must serve, the oligarchs and crooks and thugs of Putin's Russia. What no one knows is that Dominika is working for the CIA as Washington's most sensitive penetration of SVR and the Kremlin.

Story
Why we think it’s a great listen: A performance so poignant, we gave Bronson Pinchot (yes, Balki from Perfect Strangers) our inaugural Narrator of the Year award.... In the monsoon season of 1968-69 at a fire support base called Matterhorn, located in the remote mountains of Vietnam, a young and ambitious Marine lieutenant wants to command a company to further his civilian political ambitions. But two people stand in his way.

As close as it gets. Really puts you in the head of the men of Bravo. Quote I fix weapons Lt, your a guidance system for 20 rifles 3 machine guns a morter team and fixed wing aircraft.
