Story
Seventeen-year-old Aderyn ("Ryn") only cares about two things: her family and her family's graveyard. And right now, both are in dire straits. Since the death of their parents, Ryn and her siblings have been scraping together a meager existence as gravediggers in the remote village of Colbren, which sits at the foot of a harsh and deadly mountain range that was once home to the fae. The problem with being a gravedigger in Colbren, though, is that the dead don't always stay dead.

Great story and narration. The music at the end…

The story and narration is great. I truly enjoyed it. The music at the end distracted me from the narrator. I have no idea how it ended because suddenly there was music getting louder. Why?! Stop that!

Good story, good narration

I really enjoyed the beginning of the story. It made me wish they had spent more time in that Northeast fishing village. History was sprinkled in to make this feel less of a fantasy novel, and added more emotion to the storyline.

This is a story that I could listen to again. The story is full of twists I didn't see coming. The narration is superb. I cannot wait for the next book to be released!
