From the moment I first saw the barbarian and what he did to the goblin, my life was destined. Not that the goblin didn’t deserve it, mind you. Once I was established, life was grand. I loved my job and the freedom it gave me to sleep late and drink ale whenever I wanted. And then that dwarf changed everything. Orcs in love, elder beings, and rogue witches’ brooms. I’ve seen it all. I’ve even had to kill a friend. Pull up a chair. Buy me an ale or three, and in return, I’ll tell you all about it.

Fun and innovative!

I met the author at a festival earlier this year. Him and his wife were very lovely people and fun to talk to! I had to check out their books and glad that I did. This collection of stories is right up my alley of interests. Magic, fantasy races, and a hint of playful romance.
I rarely finish books, but this one had me hooked. I definitely recommend it for other enjoyers of fantasy and tabletop-like worlds!
