Good, if only distasteful sometimes

My only complain comes from how the women of this novel are written, often objectifying and degrading, without any real agency or personality, and only to be the objects of desire and physical/sexual violence. My complains is not that these topics are present in the novel, but how unnecessary it feels sometimes for the story itself, however this can all easily be attributed to the nature of the novel and the time it was written, overall a good read that I recommend 9/10

Amazing narration.
When you walk down NY, and you see a crazy man on the street or people drug out of their wits, it’s hard to remember that these folks are human too, that person is someone’s child, someone’s parent, we don’t know how or why they’re in the situation they’re, and we shouldn’t judged them for it, I don’t think I’m any better than them

I feel like this series has reached its peak of political drama at the second half of this book, loved it
