Story
This story is told through the jagged peephole of the author's awareness, examining her formative wounds and influences from the perspective of a woman who has now gained experience and wisdom. As she peers over her soul's shoulder, she recalls the chaos of her once-fragile childhood mind. She shudders as she is reminded of the sting of her lonely childhood, her feelings of abandonment, and her painful memories of being bullied.

The road back to me made me feel hopeful. I felt like I was not the only one going through codependency and narcissistic abuse. I have so much respect for Lisa being able to cut the ties with her controlling husband and able to find the courage and strength to leave. She makes me want this for me and gives me the courage to continue on to find myself. Lisa is real. Lisa is an inspiration.

Story
It's no secret that women today are juggling a lot. We now make up more than half the workforce in the United States and are busier than ever with partners, children, family and friends, often putting the needs of others ahead of our own. And if we feel overwhelmed by it all or fall short of perfection, many of us have learned to be our own worst critic rather than our own best friend. In Warrior Goddess Training, best-selling author HeatherAsh Amara provides the antidote to the flawed idea that you are not enough.
