Story
In the fourth volume of her autobiography, The Heart of a Woman, Angelou's turbulent life breaks wide open with joy as the singer-dancer enters the razzle-dazzle of fabulous New York City. There, at the Harlem Writers Guild, her love for writing blazes anew. Her compassion and commitment lead her to respond to the fiery times by becoming the northern coordinator of Martin Luther King's history-making quest. A tempestuous, earthy woman, she promises her heart to one man only to have it stolen, virtually on her wedding day, by a passionate African freedom fighter.

I enjoyed every laugh that was given!

Full of great advice through experiences, as well as details and stories! I was so pleased that Ms. Love read her own book. I would definitely recommend, if not for the advice (even though I consider most of the advice...useable), then for the lightheartedness and laughter!...lol

Story
Tiffany can't avoid being funny: it's just who she is. But The Last Black Unicorn is so much more than a side-splittingly hilarious collection of essays - it's a memoir of the struggles of one woman who came from nothing and nowhere. A woman who was able to achieve her dreams by reveling in her pain and awkwardness, showing the world who she really is, and inspiring others through the power of laughter.

I absolutely love this book/I'm going to tell why!
Reviewed: 08-04-18
This book is absolutely awesome and a honest bio of her account and experiences through life up until her current successes. I wasn't expecting her to share all the way up until these current successes, but I'm very happy that she did, which was a real treat. She's a very inspiring person and inspire me to keep going and be the best version of me that I can be. I pray that she'll continue to rise and that her life will continue to increase and grow in abundance. She really put it all out there, in which I'm grateful. My favorite part, if I can say favorite part because I enjoyed all of it so much, was the part that she talked about Roscoe, which gave me one of the biggest belly laughs...you'll have to check it out yourself to see just why...lol ENJOY because this audible version is so awesome....you get to ride the emotions with her!!!
