Story
Riley Kennedy’s emails keep getting crossed with her male colleague, Kennedy Riley. The infuriating man forwards them along with his annoying commentary and unsolicited advice. At least she never has to see him in person, since they work in different locations…until they come face to face at the office holiday party.

This book and it's stories fill a unique place in my personal being. I live in and grew up in Hawaii and know most of the places, people and events described in this book. I was 8 years old when the Duke passed, the same year my Parents signed me up as a member of the Outrigger Canoe Club. I also have a deep connection with the ocean and the variety of activities it offers. I love all things Hawaii and accept the good it has to offer while tolerating its negatives. If you are an American, The Duke lives in all of us in some unique way, read this book and find out your connections. If you're from Hawaii and listen to it, prepare yourself for the annunciation of some of the Hawaiian Words and places, they're not quite on, the narrator should've consulted the Bishop Museum or Kamehameha Schools. But, Thank You David Davis for Sharing this book with the world. Aloha and Mahalo, CW

Four months have passed since the shadow stone fell into Kell's possession. Four months since his path crossed with Delilah Bard. Four months since Rhy was wounded and the Dane twins fell, and the stone was cast with Holland's dying body through the rift, and into Black London. In many ways, things have almost returned to normal, though Rhy is more sober, and Kell is now plagued by his guilt.

Story
Hillbilly Elegy is a passionate and personal analysis of a culture in crisis - that of white working-class Americans. The decline of this group, a demographic of our country that has been slowly disintegrating over 40 years, has been reported on with growing frequency and alarm but has never before been written about as searingly from the inside. J. D. Vance tells the true story of what a social, regional, and class decline feels like when you were born with it hung around your neck.

From the muck (in this case Appalachia), the lotus blossom blooms). Vance unwinds an interesting tale founded in the power of family values and a sincere practical love of recognizing and consistently pursuing and doing the right thing.
