Neal Stephenson on a bad day...

Not bad as much as kinda boring, this is one of the few books by Neal Stephenson where I've felt I didn't get as many hours of enjoyment as the hours I put in to read it. This performance of Anathem is great, it just suffers from the kinda-boring source.

warning that you are racist doesn't make you less

the author starts off the book with a preface warning readers that the content has been unfairly marked as racist by other readers. spoiler warning : it's very racist.
