Story
In December 1975, the Lutz family moved into their new home on suburban Long Island. George and Kathleen Lutz knew that, one year earlier, Ronald DeFeo had murdered his parents, brothers, and sisters in the house, but the property - complete with boathouse and swimming pool - and the price were too good to pass up. This is the shocking true story of an American dream that turned into a nightmare beyond imagining for the Lutz family, who were forced to flee their new home in terror.

Dang!! Must read!

Wow... I’m surprised at how good this book is. Every second I was anticipating what was going to happen next, and at times I even felt myself become frightened. The narrator was spectacular. His voice was calming yet authoritative. I really enjoyed his voices for all the characters: he didn’t overplay the high-pitched factor for women or anything. It felt real. I would love to listen to another book narrated by him. :p
(Also, this really made me think about the movie that came out about Amityville - how ridiculous it seems now - and I feel much more informed after reading this book.)

I’ve always heard that howls moving castle was a really good book, at least compared to the movie and it holds true. It’s charming, funny, and I love all the characters. The narrator has an interesting voice and I thoroughly enjoyed her. (I’ll be honest, at first I thought it was unpleasant but it really fits the story) When the story ended with a short I nearly cried like geez!! I would recommend to anyone. I must say this, you have to actually listen closely to know what’s going on. There are some scenes that feel really complicated unless I’m completely focused. Otherwise, I’m hooked. I want more lmaoo.

I love Animorphs and I’ve been trying to read through them but learning there are audiobooks is like a dream. This is the first one I listened to and the narrator did a very good job! She has a nice voice and it fits Cassies very well.
Moments where she is voicing sound effects don’t feel forced or childish, just the right amount of goofy.
When she is voicing other characters, she did pretty good! The only obvious thing I noticed was that sometimes she’d, as an example, use Marco’s voice on Rachel’s line. Nothing major.
The story itself isn’t groundbreaking. There is no real relevant plot points (as far as I can tell). By that I mean that is seems like a filler book. Doesn’t mean it isn’t still fun to read!
Overall, so cool these audiobooks are coming into existence!!!
