Left to my own devices from a young age, I grew up with zero love or guidance. I was an unwanted mistake my parents were forced to endure. Loneliness followed me everywhere. It's how I know real love doesn't exist, and those who believe they have it are disillusioned by sacrifice as if that alone made their bond worthy. Some would say I'm a romantic masochist, but maybe I had to be because only an unbelieving heart could step into its own twisted fairytale through impulse and temptation.

This audiobook was hard, there were some difficult parts. But it's impossible to stop because our main character is so captivating. I would have liked to have had more chapters with Jacob Morgan but it was really worth buying this book. The author managed to keep me interested even in the dark parts. I loved it!

You know the story where the hero comes in and saves the day, rescuing the heroine right in the nick of time? This isn't that story. Instead of a knight in shining armor, he's a sexy, tatted-up Bratva boss with a reputation for being brutal and fierce. Vasily finds me after I've already been brought to my lowest—broken by cruel men until I barely recognize myself. He doesn't offer me salvation. He offers me protection and revenge. And I gladly take it. Because I don't need a knight in shining armor. I need a villain who doesn't mind getting his hands dirty.

There were some very hard and difficult parts that left me feeling really distressed, but so much love and sweetness ended up bringing relief, contentment and happy tears. A very good book that made you feel all those emotions. The narrators also did a good job.

Loved the story, loved the characters, loved the narration. This is the fifth book and I was not disappointed, quite the opposite. This series is amazing! I found my favorite author. I'm just sorry there aren't more of her books...but I'll be on the lookout.

I was enjoying the book. I really like the way the author writes, the stories are very interesting and captivating. And the narration is awesome, it couldn't be better! In the previous books I really liked the characters and how they evolved during the story. But in this book, towards the end, I was disappointed with the behavior of one of the characters I will not say which one to not be a spoiler alert. Other than that, I can't say I regret choosing this book.

Definitely found one of my favorite authors. I loved this book too (the second one!). It is written so smoothly and detailed without being tiresome that we could visualize and feel every scene. I loved the inner beauty of the characters with their physical flaws. And the narration? Amazing !
