I cried.
Reviewed: 10-17-24
I cried. I cried and I cried. The last 3 chapters, the last chapter before the epilogue, I cried. I didn’t think I was going to and then it just all hit me. I have never been so impacted by a novel before. I am in awe. I know so many authors that struggle with endings, I’ve only ever heart amazing and incredible things of Sanderson but hearing and experiencing are such wildly different experiences. He has a new fan for life.

Suzie Young & Stephen Fu killed it
Reviewed: 05-09-24
They always do an incredible job but for such an important arc they knew exactly what needed to be done and they KILLED IT. The ending has them flipping perspectives more often than in other volumes and they do it beautifully and it flows exactly how you’d want it to. Bonus points for making Stephen voice some of the girls at the start of the first chapter that was hilarious.
