didn't care too much for the book but I did notice something that is of interest and leads to a serious question. why is it in the book you refer the only female minor child character as a little sprite of a woman but you refer to the female lead character which is a woman as a Girl? 🤬😤 you see doing that sort of wordplay that's part and part with grooming and gives off serious pedo vibes.😡

the third wheel

it wasn't until this book that I discovered that Isolde is actually the third wheel when it comes to Mark's preferences Mark was married to a man Mark starts a relationship before they're married with a man and continues the relationship with a man. Mark even praises Tristan more. Tristan even admitted that Mark's been lying to her. I believe that regardless of what Mark says to her she will still always come in third place in his heart and that a man will always be his first thought when it comes to love and not a woman. 😒

I would give it six stars if I could. the main female character strong resilient not a pushover. not weak or submissive or subservient she know who she was she know what she wanted and the lead male character badass. dark hair blue eyes you just can't go wrong

zero preservation skills

so Sam writes books about women who have absolutely 0% preservation skills I hope she is not one of these women in real life because that means I would actually have to pity her. all of Sam books are pretty much train wrecks to determine whether or not the girl is going to get raped because the male characters are so unbelievably and pathetically morally questionable

the two male leads. what kind of a man thinks it's okay to can a woman who escaped a wife beating husband? in my opinion the two main male characters deserve the same fate as the wife beater. all they did was kept her perpetually terrified works her body to exhaustion and literally beat her. and the female lead doesn't even care for herself enough to stand up to anybody.

In rl Joe Arden is a trash talking money gouging piece of 💩. he SH's women. trash talks other production companies. price gouges people under contract and removes the rights to their book so that he can keep the royalties for himself. just an all-around douchebag and should be boycotted from all dark romance and romance books regardless of how his voice sounds. dark romance advocates against sexual harassment and any SA, but in real life Joe Arden thinks it's okay to do for him. any author who chooses to use Joe Arden in their books should be boycotted, bc then you as an author are advocating for him to continue sexually harass and treat women like 💩

Thank God this was a fictional story because if this was real and she got sexual gratification after everything that happened to her for the love of God I'd be asking what's wrong with her mentally. if it were me I wouldn't have relented ever it would have gone on to one of us died. in real life she should've then immediately put into whitsec. + no one deserves to be collard leashed let around on all fours and treated like a dog. especially since all of our country's governments love to traffic women and children for sex and you ladies are writing books about it dramatizing it and putting pink little bows on it for sexual gratification. 😡

worst narrator ever

I love the author and all of her books amazing great storyline 100%, but why did you have to choose the world's most aggravating female narrator? the inflection after every sentence the tone of voice she overdramatizes everything from the way she says it and how she describes things it sounds like somebody is being decapitated in front of her face every 5 secs. complete over dramatizing. it was beyond aggravating. I had to stop the audiobooks so many times because I couldn't stand hearing her voice anymore. But I'm not a quitter. Please do not use this female narrator in the future.

What kind of pedo bullshit is this? On what planet is seeing either one of your parents naked in the shower normal or even okay for that matter? What the fuk is wrong with you? I see why you waited until the end to throw that part in there bc if you put in the beginning the majority of people with a brain and a moral compass would know not to finish this disgusting book. Saying that it's okay to see your parents naked in the shower is straight grooming 🤬🤬🤬
