Story
For the last several years, Penn and Kim Holderness of The Holderness Family have done the hard maintenance and the research to learn how to fight better. With the help of their marriage coach Dr. Christopher Edmonston, they break down their biggest (and in some cases, funniest) fights. How did a question about chicken wings turn into a bra fight (no, not a bar fight; a bra fight)? How did a roll of toilet paper lead to tears, resentment, and a stint in the guest bedroom?

I cannot say enough good things about this book
Reviewed: 02-07-22
I’ve been with my husband for 19 years and every so often I pick up another book on ways to improve our relationship. Most of the time we are pretty steady, but we hit ruts - sometimes big ruts ! I’ve read many good books over the years, but this may be my favorite.
I really connected to every single thing these guys said. I was hanging on their every word and tearing up through most of the chapters. This book reallllly reconfirmed how most couples seem to struggle with the same issues.
I’m so glad that someone (especially in the public eye) was brave enough to tell their story! I could not recommend this book more … and thank you to Christopher who counseled The Holdernesses so they could pass his professional knowledge on through relatable tales ! Ten star review !

In Here, Now, Kate Merrick invites women to stop running away from their actual lives and to instead walk in the peace and fullness God offers when they quiet their souls, listen to what he's saying, and live with brave intentionality.
