Graceland was built in 1935!

Kim, I love you and your book. I also love watching you on QVC, you are my favorite for sure! I love all of your one liners and the way they come out of your mouth with your southern drawl. But Girl, recheck your facts about Graceland, it was not built in 1972. 😘

Story
It started with a documentary. The beautiful Alyssa Bradford approaches Eric Shaw to unearth the life story of her father-in-law, Campbell Bradford, a 95-year-old billionaire whose childhood is wrapped in mystery. Eric grabs the job, even though the only clues to Bradford's past are his hometown and an antique water bottle he's kept his entire life. In Bradford's hometown, Eric discovers an extraordinary past - a glorious domed hotel where movie stars, presidents, athletes, and mobsters once intermingled.

I am from Southern Indiana, just a few miles south of French Lick so I really enjoyed the way the story was based on the famous hotels. It's an intriguing and well written plot. I highly recommend this book.

Enjoyed listening

I really enjoyed listening with the cast of narrators and of course Dolly reading a part was a great idea! The story kept me interested and wanting to find out what Annie Lee was hiding, that part dragged on until the very very end but overall a great collaboration in story telling.
