Story
The world is winding down. Centuries after humanity’s last stand against the Dark Filament, their servants - the bloodthirsty creatures known as Incarnates - hunt down anyone under the age of 18. Civilization is broken, and the remaining population is elderly, isolated, and hopeless. Sixteen-year-old Korden Bright has lived his entire life behind the Barrier, a mystical shield which hides him from the Incarnates. When the Barrier is breached, Korden will leave to journey across a post-apocalyptic America.

So many instances I was like are you kidding me if I had the power this kid had I would not allow even a fraction of the crap that happens to occur. Plus I would never go into danger as completely unprepared as this idiot who is given an immense learn and helping tool just handed to him TO FREAKING AID HIM!!! and uses it poorly over and over and some times not at all in obvious occasions. If he represents humanity's final hope this world is completely screwed.

Story
William is just your typical engineer fresh out of college with a stressful job, a boring life, and not a lot of prospects of anything better in the future. Until one weekend while hiking in the woods he stumbles across a portal to another time, or perhaps another place. The more he investigates this new world, the more he realizes that it may just be able to offer him a lot more than the one he's been living in.

fire the narrator

whoever recorded this needs better equipment the background static was annoying. The narrator was painful to listen to I mean stop licking your lips near the microphone and put more emotion if was like listening to classroom of elementary children taking turns reading a part of assigned reading it was grating and ticked me of since I liked the story it is really just the narrator i couldn't stand.

Getting eaten alive is the worst! Stabbings, maimings, and corrosive black magic are not that great either, but you really don't want to be a wolf treat! That is the kind of hands on, "teeth on", education you get when you are summoned to the Land.
