Story
Some people work to pay the bills or send the kids to school or afford playtime. Ex-army medic physician assistant Glenn Archer works, as much as she possibly can, to atone for all the lost lives on her conscience. No matter how many patients she helps save at the Rivers Community Hospital, it will never be enough, but it helps her look at herself in the mirror in the morning.

Radclyffe never fails...

Once again Radclyffe nails it! Sweet story. I don't think the narrator did the book justice. Would have been far more enjoyable if Abbey Craden or Nicole Zansiralla was the narrator.
Overall this was a great continuation of the Rivers's Family saga. Radclyffe really makes you connect with the characters so quickly that it's impossible not to want to continue reading and discover what's happening in this now extended family of mine. Hahaha.

Horrible Recording!!
Reviewed: 06-27-16
This was a good story, but the recording is absolutely horrid! You can hear every splice, volume was up and down the whole way through, and there's a slight hollow sound behind the narrator. Seriously disappointing I actually paid for the audible version. Ugh!

Love love love this book, and series! I enjoy Radclyffe's work over all, but the P-Town series is by far the best in my opinion. The narrator is truly great here as well. She really made you connect with the characters. I hope she narrates more lesfic!

Story
Guide dog trainer Lenae McIntyre left the high-speed world of television news writing behind, and now she helps other visually impaired people adjust to life with their canine companions. She teaches her students and their dogs to trust each other, but a past betrayal and the determination to be self-sufficient and independent keep her from trusting her heart to see love. Cara Bradley compensates for her family's shallow celebrity lifestyle by devoting her life to helping others, while keeping to the background.

Really sweet story. LOVED the narrator. I felt like the heat could have been turned up a bit, but over all it was a great read.
