Of course the book itself was amazing. However the narrator sounded like he wanted to sleep through the whole thing. No inflection at all!

Story
Stephen Smith is the boy who did not exist. Born out of wedlock in the early 1960s, Steve's parents - both devout Catholics - had felt so 'shamed' by their son's illegitimate birth that they hid him away from the world by locking him in the cellar...for 13 years. Apart from a few admissions to hospital as a result of his 'imprisonment', Steve remained in the coal cellar of the family home where he was deprived of daylight, his childhood, school and human contact until he'd reached his teenage years.

This is undoubtedly the best book. It wrenches your heart but shows the endurance and fortitude of our children. I also have a past of child abuse and understand the pain and trauma that can occur. This book is a must read!

Story
So...you'd think after banishing an immortal being and a fallen High Priestess, saving Stark's life, biting Heath, getting a headache from Erik, and almost dying, Zoey Redbird would catch a break. Sadly, a break is not in the House of Night school forecast for the High Priestess in training and her gang. Juggling three guys is anything but a stress reliever, especially when one of them is a sexy Warrior who is so into protecting Zoey that he can sense her emotions.

What did you like best about Tempted? What did you like least?
The book is obviously part of the series but the different narrators is getting old. This one was the worst of them so far. I enjoyed the first one best. Other then that the stories seem to flow well together.
What aspect of Cassandra Morris’s performance would you have changed?
I would not use Cassandra Morris again to narrate.
