Story
I'll show everyone I'm a threat, and they will fear me. For my family. I have to protect them. The second I hear the name Damien Vetrov I know I'm in trouble. He's an arrogant Russian God. I have zero intention of bowing to him. Ever. Attractive and lethal—he's such an intoxicating mixture. Every second we spend together, the pull between us becomes stronger, and my fear grows. While my body wants him, my head knows better. He has the power to kill my family.

great story, wish narrating was different

I think this book would have been way better if the actors only voiced their respective genders regardless of whose POV the chapter is under. they did their best and you can still follow along easily.
the enemies to lovers storyline is fantastic. perfect amount of alpha that's not toxic.
*not part of my rating but just in case, the first syllable in every single sentence was cut off. it was harder to understand/stay wrapped up in the story due to this glitch. couldn't find anything online so maybe my download was defective?

Who am I? I've forgotten the answer to that question long ago. Ever since I ran from that house, so desperate to escape, I left with only the clothes on my back and socks on my feet. After that day, I've only ever walked in stolen shoes.

love the mystery

great romance scenes, slightly too toxic of an alpha in my opinion, but great story that keeps you wanting to hear the next chapter. almost a slow burn. the last few chapters were a great ending to the tension built from the rest of the book

Story
Trauma nurse Aly Cappellucci doesn’t need any more kinks. She likes the one she’s landed on just fine. To her, nothing could top the masked men she follows online. Unless one of those men was shirtless, heavily tattooed, and waiting for her in her bedroom. She dreams about being hunted by one in particular, of him chasing her down and doing deliciously dark things to her willing body. She never could have guessed that by sending one drunken text, those dreams would become her new reality.

Disappointed

This book was boring. The audio was of poor quality. Just doesn't compare to previous Jack Reacher novels.
