Jonathan Brooks delivers the goods in the fifth and final installment of The Station Core series. The plot was well paced (I skipped most of the stat tables)and was full of surprises and turns. Additionally Miles Meili's narration fit the tone of the series perfectly (and he probably deserves a medal for making the stat tables as listenable as they were) Without giving away plot spoilers, I enjoyed the shift of focus to push some new characters forward as a way to bring in new life to what could have become repetitions of the earlier stories. Overall, I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys reading/listening to rpg plot lines.

I applaud the author for making the stat tables separate chapters so that those who wanted to skip them could without losing any story line. From the audible app perspective, when listening in the car, i couldn't skip the whole stats sections with one fast forward as it only allows increments in 30 second bursts.

held my interest the whole way through, well written with several surprising twists. looking forward to being able to read/listen to the next part. Also, prequel to the series A tale of Three Spirits was also extremely well written and despite that it is based Dickins classic Christmas Carol, a story I don't care for, Mr. Pike turned it into something enjoyable.
