I liked the story in the first book of the story a little better, a little more catching. But after listening to many many Scottish Highlander romances , I come to the conclusion that McCollum is the best - and, of course, Tim Campbell as narrator.

I have listened to several Scottish romances and this one was the best. The heroine was convincing and strong, the love story great, and the overall plot great. On top, i loved the narrator.
This was absolutely worth the credit.

I am all in for Scottish romances. The story entails much more than just a love story and it made it interesting. I liked the narrator, especially when speaking with a Scottish accent. But speaking for my own taste, I have concluded that when male narrators speak the female role it is rather unsexy.
