Story
What do you do when there are no borders? When the lines you thought existed simply vanish? How do you plant your feet to make a stand when you no longer know what side you’re on? The war has come home. For over forty years, Art Keller has been on the front lines of America’s longest conflict: The War on Drugs. His obsession to defeat the world’s most powerful, wealthy, and lethal kingpin—the godfather of the Sinaloa Cartel, Adán Barrera—has left him bloody and scarred, cost him the people he loves, even taken a piece of his soul.

Perfection

I cried. I laughed. I felt so many emotions whilst listening. Not sure if I should say it was Ray Porter or Don Winslow but either way, I felt intense emotions that had me so invested until the end.
Bravo! I’m on the edge of my seat awaiting another book in the series. I’ve never been so sad to hear…”epilogue”.

I waited patiently for it to be made available. I ugly cried at work whilst listening to this book. It was a true emotional roller coaster. All my questions were answered and more.
If you’re looking for something to kill 20+ hours search no more.
Ray Porter certainly brought this book alive. I finished within a few days. I sure hope there’s another one on the way.

I typically just buy my books based off of Ray Porter alone. In this case, the book was worth the credit and many hours of listening. Brace yourself for an unpredictable adventure!

Loved it!

I bought this book because it was the "deal' of the day. This was the best money spent because I loved the book well besides Dotson being a complete jerk. The overall storyline was good and the ending surprised me. I finished reading within a day and already bought the 2nd book in the series.
