I absolutely loved listening to this novel. These women were fully committed soldiers and loyal to their jobs, their country and I’d not read about them ever before. It was amazing to learn of their stories. Each one loyal and hard working soldiers. I’ve read many of Jennifer Chiaverini’s books and they never disappoint. I’m so glad I found this one.

This book was amazing to listen to, especially since Matthew Perry read it. My ex-husband was an alcoholic and a drug addict. So reading this book helped me understand slightly better why what happened happened. Matthew was very upfront and truthful, very descriptive about each trauma, and I appreciated all of that. I have to say I did not enjoy the language but I got through that. God bless you Matthew. I am so sorry you could not have gone on living longer and help more people.

Story
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

I absolutely loved this book. I have both read it and listened to it and thoroughly enjoyed both. I have great respect for Megan and Harry and am completely on board with their decision to step away from their life in England under the monarchy. I’m so glad they are able as a result to bring up their two beautiful children in a natural environment without protocol of royal destiny and am saddened that his family never supported them during those stressful times they endured. Harry did a wonderful job on this book and I would recommend it to everyone.

I found this book to be very interesting and truly enjoyed the reader’s voice. I felt as though I was with them on their journey. I felt a kind of peace when at the ending she found the story of hurt grandmother.

I was entirely engaged throughout the listening of this book. It brought back the memories of that day, and it sent feelings of thanks to all those who worked to find who did this and how are we going to find them. I have the utmost respect for all those who became involved in every way in that task. We must never forget!!!
