Not told entirely

I hate this interpretation of Shakespeare's plays because it is incomplete. For example the Merchant of Venice is missing an entire scene Act 3 scene 5 is entirely gone. Some words are exchanged for others and or entire lines by nominal characters were cut off. I hate this interpretation. DO NOT BUY THIS TITLE.

Story
The noble Titus returns victorious to Rome bringing Tamora, Queen of the Goths as his captive. When one of Tamora's sons is condemned to die, she vows revenge, and, aided by the villainous Aaron, she exacts a terrible retribution, inaugurating a grim cycle of rape, murder, and cannibalism. This macabre, often brilliant tragedy comes from the earliest stage of Shakespeare's dramatic career.

Eye for an Eye
Reviewed: 11-16-21
This is a hard story to stomach. Grusesome is the least of the summary. Base story, and one of evil. This is the least of my favorite works by Shakespeare. It was inspired in evil and it is hard to read, and hear. This is based on eye for an eye. Any human emotion and civility was had in the last pages of the work. Truly sad, never ever, do I ever want to read this again. A psychopath could be inspired by this.

Shakespeare's contributions to stage and language are unequaled, audiences left breathless for the past four centuries, his artistry as evident in moments of insensate rage as it is in moments of heartbreaking tenderness.

I love Professor Clare R. Kinney's analysis of The Great Courses for Shakespeare's Tragedies. Not only does she share HER* perspective, she shares background knowledge to the plays. It uncovers, for us, students deeper knowledge on the broader meanings of the plays. I can't even reiterate for you the importance of it all. Buy it! It's worth the investment!

Mark Antony, one of the three rulers of the Roman world, has become the thrall of the fascinating Cleopatra. Affairs of state call him to Rome, but the attractions of the queen of Egypt prove impossible to resist. From one of history's greatest love stories Shakespeare builds this magnificent tragedy of the clash between love and duty.

What a masterpiece of the English language. So thankful we read this in our literature class. This would be a pleasure to pass on to my children. To continue Shakespeare’s play for eternity.

Gripping
Reviewed: 01-03-20
I would rather title it fabulous but the memoir is grim. So I titled it gripping, but it grabbed my heart and moved me to tears. She roared in her delicate and poignant voice. She roars for all of us accosted and bedded when we didn’t want to. I just want her to know that she can be a children’s story book author, as was her aim to be before this happened. Stay strong. Thank you for everything you told for us.
