Story
It's a pub in lower Manhattan, run by the Finnegan family for generations and now owned by Kieran and her three brothers. Kieran Finnegan, who still works there whenever she can, has become a criminal psychologist - a fitting reaction, perhaps, to her less-than-lawful past. Meanwhile, New York's Diamond District has been hit by a rash of thefts. No one's been killed - until now.

Story
When the body of an MI5 operative is found floating in the Thames, police frogmen find a significant clue nearby: Nikolai Sereyev, an MI5 informer and mid-level player in a Russian criminal organisation. Both men have been brutally murdered. Andrew Harvey is tasked with finding his colleague's killer, and quickly uncovers a plot to assassinate a visiting dignitary on British soil. No sooner has he scraped the surface of the case than the tables are turned and he becomes a pawn in a game of international brinkmanship that leads all the way to the Kremlin.

Alan McDermott writes fast paced suspense novels First required suspension of belief but each other novels were more believable Plot was not linear but twists and turns involved multiple characters in the story line
Hope to enjoy a 7th effort

Story
For Gwen Farris, the nightmare commences with the flash of a knife in a darkened parking lot.… That’s where Stephen Tarbell begins to exact his revenge against her for giving him a poor performance evaluation, for getting the promotion he believed was rightly his, and for being the woman who finally drove him over the edge. The threat escalates to an onslaught of physical and psychological intimidation so relentless that it threatens to destroy everything Gwen holds dear. And with the authorities unable - or unwilling - to help, Gwen has to take on Tarbell herself. But how do you stop a madman whose hatred knows no limit?
