So enlightening and thorough!

This is the kind of book I have been waiting to read for a while.
As a black person who have struggled to understand my own identity, this book was very helpful for me to get very convincing answers to so many questions I have had. I was always trying to find the truth about racism and Ibram Kendi did an excellent job digging into the history of the humanity and being so meticulous about gathering so much information about the human race, and demystifying its complexity.
The book is long, but well broken down into small chapters and pieces of our different cultures behaviors. This makes it much easier to absorb the analysis of each subject. So far, this is best book I have ever read.
Thank You! I ram Kendi.

Story
In this “vital, necessary, and beautiful book” (Michael Eric Dyson), antiracist educator Robin DiAngelo deftly illuminates the phenomenon of white fragility and “allows us to understand racism as a practice not restricted to 'bad people'" (Claudia Rankine). Referring to the defensive moves white people make when challenged racially, white fragility is characterized by emotions such as anger, fear, and guilt and by behaviors including argumentation and silence. These behaviors, in turn, function to reinstate white racial equilibrium and prevent meaningful cross-racial dialogue.

Revolutionary thinking about racism
Reviewed: 05-22-22
This is by far one of the most comprehensive books about racism and how it plays out in the United States. The author is very thoughtful, the stories are very powerful and corroborates all studies about race issues that I know about. Excellent book for both black and white people who are interested in fighting racism and white supremacy.

Story
On The Power of Vulnerability, Dr. Brown offers an invitation and a promise - that when we dare to drop the armor that protects us from feeling vulnerable, we open ourselves to the experiences that bring purpose and meaning to our lives. Here she dispels the cultural myth that vulnerability is weakness and reveals that it is, in truth, our most accurate measure of courage.

Very compelling analysis of the US constitution

I think reading this book gave a better understanding of how the US Supreme Court is shaping the way to live in America. Meaning the future of the country is defined open interpretation in f the constitution by few justices.
