Ana has been living in her sisters’ shadow for years when the choosing ceremony comes around. It was pretty good

I really enjoyed listening to this. It was super unique and entertaining. The only issue i had, was it seemed like for every character but the main female (Ana) When they “ joked or teased” the narrator made it sound all monotone, so i couldn’t really get the vibe that someone was teasing instead of being mean. Other than that i really enjoyed it. I liked Sean and Ana, and their story was interesting .

Story
HUMANS ARE THE MOST ADORABLE CREATURES IN THE GALAXY. Everyone says so. Is it such a surprise that an Alpha Imperial Warship would take human prisoners? Most definitely, everyone knows, the Alliance never takes prisoners. Once onboard, the crew of the Dakota are casually informed that human women from the crew are now shockingly considered to be Alliance citizens by the Empire. Moreover, they will be returning to the Alliance homeworld.

Super Fun Listen

This was really interesting to listen too. I love Sci-fi romances, and this one was top notch. The concept of this book was so cool, “aliens” coming to take humans and a woman finding and marrying one of them. It’s a really good story, and the person reading was really good. It made it so much more enjoyable to listen to it.

Story
I’m a space pirate, and that means I’m used to finding myself in some pretty hairy situations. But getting abducted and imprisoned inside a remote experimental lab? Yeah, I think this takes the cake. Then there’s my neighbor in the cell next door, Xavier. Despite being a smoking hot alien, he’s a brooder with a pronounced contempt for pirates like me. But that distaste can’t hide the look in his eyes when I’m forced to shower in front of him.

Fun and spicy. Its a lot to listen too. There were so many cool aspects to this story and sweet moments and moments that made me want to rip my hair out. Xavier sounds like a lot to handle, like in a good way. Merrit is too. She’s headstrong and brave. I listened to the audio so it was a tad hard to keep up, but i liked it.
