Story
Meet Eleanor Oliphant: She struggles with appropriate social skills and tends to say exactly what she's thinking. Nothing is missing in her carefully timetabled life of avoiding social interactions, where weekends are punctuated by frozen pizza, vodka, and phone chats with Mummy. But everything changes when Eleanor meets Raymond, the bumbling and deeply unhygienic IT guy from her office.

After a wild bet, gourmet grilled-cheese sandwich, and cuddle with a baby goat, Alexis Montgomery has had her world turned upside down. The cause: Daniel Grant, a ridiculously hot carpenter who’s ten years younger than her and as casual as they come—the complete opposite of sophisticated city-girl Alexis. Dear Abby,
Thank you for giving us much needed space and freedom to acknowledge the myriad ways abuse exists- from insidious to overt.
Thank you also for giving us all the warm feels wrapped up in unapologetic love, the kind that stands up against the world.
I have only ever immediately re"read" one book, this is my second. And I think the first to be read immediately for the 3rd time. There are so many simply stated complex truths expertly woven from beginning to end.
These words have become the artillery in my war to reclaim myself.
Forever in gratitude.

By day, 17-year-old Jo Kuan works as a lady's maid for the cruel daughter of one of the wealthiest men in Atlanta. But by night, Jo moonlights as the pseudonymous author of a newspaper advice column for the genteel Southern lady, "Dear Miss Sweetie". When her column becomes wildly popular, she uses the power of the pen to address some of society's ills, but she's not prepared for the backlash that follows when her column challenges fixed ideas about race and gender.

This journey has wrapped me up in a warm holding embrace and hasn't let go. I didn't want it to end. I would keep going wherever it would take me. For the first time, I will read a book again at once I first finished it.
Thank you dearly, Lisa Wingate, for allowing yourself to be taken and for bringing us with you. And for the cherub who whispered into your ear of the Lost Friends, my heartfelt gratitude.
