On a whim, i listened to this and was inspired. Although Miss Rodgers targeted her peeps, the message resonates to everyone. I’m a male and minority and will get off of my butt and apply most of her principles outlined in this book.

Even though this book is inexpensive, the author gives plenty of knowledge and wisdom some of which all of us have come to know throughout our lives but we have to reminded of. And there are things that are new to me. The important thing is that we don’t have to sift through cheerleading or countless examples of success stories to get what we want and need. The narrator is a little mechanical but that’s the extent of my criticism. I will listen to this book again and again and after a year, just try mmm try to visit it periodically. Highly recommended for what a self help book should be.

If they had mentioned how much they praised god in the description, I would not have purchased it. I’m listening to some good ideas and they keep interjecting about how god is good as if this was some sort of evangelical revival. False advertisement - just be truthful and state that with the help of god you can do this and that in the description. This audio book has a lot of positive information but every time it praises god, I want to throw my phone into the ocean. False advertisement in the description and sample audio . I purged it from my library.

Any additional comments?

i loved this because of no lengthy introductions - or any introductions - since we all know that the title says it all. i play it on my iPod and radio clock and not have to listen to any needless explanations of why we are listening or should listen. this audio book pleasantly puts me to sleep ( since i'm a little bit of an insomniac) while i try to get in the abundance mindset. one reviewer said something about the music fillers being excessive which is probably valid but there was one stretch, i think the 2nd to the last stanza, that had a beautiful cello (or violin) tune that i couldn't identify even with the Shazam application on my iPhone. if somebody could help me identify what that was, i would appreciate it - i'd love to buy it. also, 98% of the affirmations were great and inline with what I've been looking for - there were a couple or so that i thought was corny but overall i enjoyed this. i know there are are a lot of affirmation audio books out there - just do a search - can anyone suggest something similar to this? one last thing, does the music on this audio book have any subliminal content? i ask because i fall asleep while listening - making it difficult to productively affirm anything. :)
