Story
When you listen to this audiobook, you will make many assumptions. You will assume you are listening to a story about a jealous ex-wife. You will assume she is obsessed with her replacement - a beautiful, younger woman who is about to marry the man they both love. You will assume you know the anatomy of this tangled love triangle. Assume nothing. Twisted and deliciously chilling, The Wife Between Us exposes the secret complexities of an enviable marriage - and the dangerous truths we ignore in the name of love.

lovers of New York will especially love Rules of Civility. A beautifully told story in post depression New York in the mixing pot of wealth poverty education. bringing posers wannabes and Aristocrats together in the Land of Hope. a great novel. I enjoyed the twists and turns and unexpected events. The author had a brilliant way of keeping the unwitting reader on the edge of the seat.

I love the characters and love the premise but in the end I didn't really love the story. it gave great insight to a form of mental illness that was eye opening and terrifying all the same time. I'm glad I listened to it but I'm not sure I'd recommend it to someone else

I love the premise of this book. the capturing of a piece of history. the story became a little bit tedious however. The characters stereotypical and overall a little bit more dramatic than necessary. Was certainly interesting but I would not say it was great literature.
