Complex characters and story. Author's descriptions place the reader in the late 1800s and is a window into the limitations society placed on women and the differences between classes.

Good narrator and interesting complex story. Good as Agatha Christie. Twists and turns throughout. Perfect book to curl up in bed on a rainy day.

Riveting story with tons of plot twists and suspense. Fascinating premise. Very interesting and well developed characters. I'd love to see more similar stories from Koontz.
