As both a forensic nurse, Public Health PhD and a Forensic Psych Masters/PhD student, I found this book fascinating! Dr. Kiehl does a fabulous job pulling the reader in with stories while simultaneously teaching the important specifics of psychopathy. This book was simplistic enough for beginners to understand and informative enough to engage someone with a lot of background experience and knowledge. Kiehl has driven my interest toward exploring information on neuroscience--and so I will definitely be adding neuroscience information to my Forensic Psych studies in the future.

A writer just starting out without any formal education may benefit from this book. It is extremely simplistic and doesn't really tell the reader "how" to write a 5 day novel but focuses more on the experience of the author. I obtained 2 pieces of information that were beneficial out of this entire book.

Wonderful to read a story that reaches back to the post WW2 era, filled with descriptions and language that entices your senses to feel your thumb stuck out in a hitch request, smell podunk towns, eat at diners that seemed fine because money was hard to come by and a suit tailored to fit cost a whole $35.00. I wondered at the lack of trial etiquette but figured DB had some authority on the way things were back then. This story was a fun ride in a large black brick--gold bars and all!

I say masterful not so much for the plot, which—King always tells a great story—but more for the building of characters and making them real. I have hope for the world in the face of underdeveloped but lethal power. I dream that I’ll learn to look as deeply at people as King has taken time to build them. And when the time comes—I pray I’ll be listening to one of King’s novels—one where he reads the audio himself. Then I’ll have my own Doctor Sleep.

In the worlds of Sci-Fi Horror/ Spec-Fic, rarely does a piece of fiction live in both the popular/genre fiction world and the literary world. M.R. Carey has managed this incredible feat with style! His unique approach places the reader right in the heads of characters experiencing an apocalyptic event, and his background research places the events in the realm of the possible. The Audible narrated by Finty Williams made it just that much better. Excellent story telling! Highly recommended to read this. Is Audible and enjoy!

Trapped is exactly what you become as you listen to this nightmare thriller gone feral! Jack Kilborn's excellent story-telling technique coupled with his penchant for twists, turns and fascinating character detail will have you asking yourself what kind of human you are to willingly join him in this page-turning terror. His novel is expertly read by an amazing artist, Phil Gigante, who brings this vortex of violence and super-human strength to the brink of painful death and agonizing life. Let's just say I will never look at a nail, a fork, a blowtorch or a Woman in Blue the same way ever again!

Would you consider the audio edition of It to be better than the print version?

This audio edition is better for me than the print version. I'm able to drive back and forth to work and while driving still "read". I love the option and the reader is FANTASTIC!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Pennywise the clown. He's got lots of color. :)

What about Steven Weber’s performance did you like?

Excelllent voice! I choose a audible book based on how well the reader gets the timing, the concepts, etc. Steven is an excellent narrator.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Heart of a Clown.
