The author does a good job of both character development and world building. Plenty of action and the novel comes to a satisfying conclusion while setting up for future installments. I don’t have to expand on the narrator. He’s a veteran and knows his business. Having someone like Naramore as the narrator is a good sign that the author is being supported by his publisher, so we can expect good things. I’ve had personal interactions with the author and I don’t believe he’s going to pull a George R R Martin and leave us hanging. I’ll be following this series. To answer the most important question; is it worth a credit? Yes it is.

I would not have finished this title but for the fact that subsequent books in the series are not narrated but this bumbling incompetent. I am honestly surprised that she managed to secure employment as an audiobook narrator. I lost track of all the mispronounced words and the monotonous tone did the author’s work no favors. Please, dear God, do not let this person narrate anything else.

Dear Mr Scarlato,

If you don’t know the very basic difference in pronunciation between cavalry and Calvary you have no business narrating audiobooks. Truly cringeworthy.
