Story
Callypso Lillis is a siren with a very big problem, one that stretches up her arm and far into her past. For the last seven years she’s been collecting a bracelet of black beads up her wrist, magical IOUs for favors she’s received. Only death or repayment will fulfill the obligations. Only then will the beads disappear. Everyone knows that if you need a favor, you go to the Bargainer. He’s a man who can get you anything you want … at a price. And everyone knows that sooner or later he always collects. But for one client, he’s never asked for repayment. Not until now.

Underage girl

The fact they met when she was 16 just felt gross to me. Not trying to normalize underage girls being “soulmates” with older men. Got the major ick from that.

Loved hearing Easton's story. Zachary Webber is by far my favorite male narrator of all the audible books I've listened to.

I love Easton--Zachary did such a great job narrating this. He made this such an enioyable read. The entire series was great--the characters were complex, & I liked all the twists. There were also some really funny parts. I was only disappointed towards the end. It felt like it was just repeating storylines...
*SPOILER ALERT*
Ella's bad guy dad and Hartley's bad guy dad and they both needed to be taken in by Callum. But overall I did enjoy the story.
I literally busted out laughing at the part where Seb is awake & Ella is saying how Seb told her he'd prefer reverse cowgirl so he didn't have to see her face 😂😂 Zachary made that part so funny. I didn't care for the weird voice Angela used, but didn't want to mark against the other narrator so gave it 5 stars.

Story
In fifth grade my teacher set us up with pen pals from a different school. Thinking I was a girl, with a name like Misha, the other teacher paired me up with her student Ryen. My teacher, believing Ryen was a boy like me, agreed. It didn't take long for us to figure out the mistake. And in no time at all, we were arguing about everything. The best take-out pizza. Android vs. iPhone. Whether or not Eminem is the greatest rapper ever. For the next seven years, it was us. She's the only one who keeps me on track, talks me down, and accepts everything I am.

Great storyline with some twists you don't totally see coming. Not like every other young adult romance out there. Very steamy love scenes. Narrators were great.
*SPOILER ALERT*
The only parts i didn't like were the times he called her obscene names. If anyone called me a see you next tuesday, I'd jack them in the face-- not sleep with them.

These Royals will ruin you...Ella Harper is a survivor - a pragmatic optimist. After her mother's death, Ella is truly alone. Until Callum Royal appears, plucking Ella out of poverty and tossing her into his posh mansion among his five sons who all hate her. Each Royal boy is more magnetic than the last, but none as captivating as Reed Royal, the boy who is determined to send her back to the slums.

He told me to settle. He asked what was wrong with me. He called me an easy target. That was within minutes when I first met Caden Banks. I labeled him an asshole, but he was more than that. Arrogant. Smug. Alpha. He was also to-die-for gorgeous, and my stepbrother's fraternity brother. Okay, yes I was a little naive, a tad bit socially awkward, and the smallest amount of stalker-ish, but if Caden Banks thought he could tell me what to do, he had another thing coming.

The narrators were great! I had a hard time finishing this with the cringe-worthy 'jokes' or 'funny things' Summer would say. Things she would say were painfully awkward and weird. The secondhand embarrassment was almost too much to handle.
I was hoping this would be a little steamer/descriptive with the sex instead of building up to it happening and then ______ nothing. Que the next day. The last few chapters were a bit much with the mom drama.... hallucinating that Kevin was her mom and he was rocking her and knew she couldn't understand what he was saying to Caden? It was too much.

I've been humiliated, shut out, and gossiped about all through high school. His pranks and rumors got worse as time wore on. I even went to Europe for a year, just to avoid him. But I'm done hiding from him now, and there's no way I'll allow him to ruin another year. He might not have changed, but I have. It's time to fight back.

I finished this book in a day. loved the story. loved the ending. I was looking for a good read similar to 'After' and this was perfect... Jared is my new favorite bad boy character.
As for the narrator, when I first started listening I didn't care for the way she would enunciate certain words. When she said Tate's internal thoughts, the speech didn't sound natural. Overall, I was able to get past this and listen to the book all the way through.

It was hard to listen to the narrators. I couldn't help but bust out laughing every time the man did a woman's voice. This is my first audiobook so I don't know if it's normal for a man to read a woman's line and vice versa--wish it was more realistic in that aspect. I don't know if it was the story or Tessa's narrator that made her seem whiney, but I became annoyed with her character. I loved the first book, & was into this one until they kept dragging on the drama and adding to it. I felt exhausted listening to it with all the fighting and talking it out then fighting again. It was all very repetitive and immature.
