Dallas Willard and John Ortberg explore what it means to live well now in light of God's kingdom. They reflect on the power of the Trinity in our lives, the meaning of knowledge, the importance of spiritual disciplines and much more. Dallas Willard offers poignant thoughts about what it will be like to transition into the very presence of Christ in heaven. A wetting of the appetite for The Kingdom of God!
Reviewed: 08-26-24
This is not a book, but a series of lectures of Dallas Willard and John Ortberg. I believe it is something I will continue to revisit year after year, as there are so many rich nuggets of truth to glean and apply to my life.

A story modeled after the greatest story ever told in an adventurous way. Tears will flow, but they are happy tears, as you realize the price of our redemption, and the forgiveness from the sins committed in our former way of life. Only to remember the hope and forgiveness that awaits us all who receive “The Makers” free, yet costly, gift of salvation!

Story
Janner, Tink, and Leeli Igiby thought they were normal children with normal lives and a normal past. But now they know they're really the Lost Jewels of Anniera, heirs to a legendary kingdom across the sea, and suddenly everyone wants to kill them. In order to survive, the Igibys must flee to the safety of the Ice Prairies, where the lizardlike Fangs of Dang cannot follow. First, however, they have to escape the monsters of Glipwood Forest, the thieving Stranders of the East Ben, and the dreaded Fork Factory.
