Story
If you happen to find a map in a dead buccaneer's sea trunk, you can't very well ignore it, not if you are Jim Hawkins and his friends Dr. Livesey, Captain Smollett, and Squire Trelawney! But even with a map, buried treasures are not easy things to come by.

Beautiful story. At times hard to understand reading

Story of no surprise considering how many times I have read it as a child. Nicely read, but frequently I had hard time understanding everything, especially when pirates’ words were read.

Story
Ernest Hemingway said, “All modern American literature comes from one book by Mark Twain called Huckleberry Finn". One hundred years after its author’s death, this classic remains remarkably modern and poignantly relevant. In this new edition, Elijah Wood reads Huck in a youthful voice that may be the closest interpretation to Twain’s original intent. His performance captures the excitement and confusion of adolescence and adventure.

Not much known novel. A bit idealistic, but nice and relaxing listen. Loved the reading (in Russian) - clean and expressive.

Story
A bear cub named Niwa gets separated from his mother and meets a hunter and his faithful dog, Miki. The dog and the cub quickly go into the wild, tough. Niwa uses the teachings his mother thought him to survive, and Miki uses both his instincts and Niwa's methods to do the same. The two become friends. But sooner or later a bear must hibernate... This is a cheering and wonderful nature story where the listener is immeasurably rewarded by getting to hear the narration of both a dog and a bear.

One of the favorites books of my childhood. This particular reader has it an hour and a half longer than the other one on Audible. But well worth listening! Quiet and mellow, it allows to appreciate the story and the descriptive language.
