As an adult trying to learn French, this kids book was a welcome change from the instruction tapes! The songs at the end are a little quirky, but if you find yourself in a silly mood, go ahead and try to sing along!

The readers spoke slowly so understanding and repetition were possible. The chosen vocabulary was all about travel and how to ask for drinks/meals... verb conjugation was not addressed, and most of the conversations used the vous form.
